This blog is about the adventures in conservation travel by Art Aughey.  There is so much to experience in this world and not enough time in which to do it!  My mantra is to Work Hard and Play Harder!  I focus travel not on the typical tourist type of experiences but to get deeply imbedded into the culture, environment, wildlife and truly experience the area.  Whenever possible, my goal is to support the local economy, promoting conservation and also let the local people that we interact with that we are there for that reason.  In days of habitat destruction and wildlife populations being decimated to the point of extinction, it is important to be eco-friendly and preserve as much of our biodiversity as possible.

When not traveling, you can find Art enjoying local activities, antiquarian book hunting, looking for curiosities to fill the cabinet and enjoying time with family and friends.
